The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has given the government of Anambra state 7 days to find those responsible for the killings at St.Phillips Catholic Church, Ozubulu on Sunday, August 6.

The group threatens to take over the security of the state if the security operatives failed to find the killers within the frame of one week.

The group leader, Ralph Uwazurike, represented by the Commander of BIM Commandos, Chinedu Chukwu, said this while addressing members of MASSOB at Ifite-Dunu, Dunukofia Local Government Area of the state.

He said: “How can this happen in a Biafran land and those behind it left to go scot-free. We cannot take this anymore, since the security operatives could no longer protect lives and property of the people."

He also described those threatening to stop the November 2017 gubernatorial election in the state as trouble-maker who will achieve nothing in the end, Daily Post reports.
